General Criteria of Writing Presentation

 

I. General requirements of format, presentation and content

1. The writings must be presented to the staff vía Internet to the following e-mail address: freshpolitik@freshpolitik.com

2. The deadlines for the presentation of original work ends on the 25th of:  August, November, February and May.

3. All works must include a title, the full name and level of studies of the author(s) who want to appear identified at the beginning of the document. The use of pseudonyms is allowed but in any case it is obligatory to provide an ID number (for Spanish authors: DNI or NIE) as well as the real name and surname of the author.

4. The autor(s) must send  along with the material they want published, their phone number and e-mail address.

5. The inclusion of a bibliographical relation of the works used for the elaboration of the texts is recommended.

6. It is recommended to follow the following system for the mentioned bibliography: Last names, name, “title of the article”, title of the magazine or book, volume, number, city of edition, year of publication.

7. The abbreviations must be written without points, for example: UN. If the abbreviation is not widely known, the entire name of it must be written first followed by the abbreviation in parenthesis.

8. It is precise to mention the source of which the graphs and the tables have been extracted.

9. As a rule, the magazine publishes the writings in the original language in which they were presented (Spanish, Catalan or English). The words, expressions and quotes that appear in a different language they must be written in cursive. In certain cases, the magazine may publish the writings in a different language from the one from reception. The magazine will take care of the translations, that could be reviewed by the authors before their publication.

10. All writings will be put under a process of evaluation before agreeing their publication. The evaluators will be members of the Advisory Council of FreshPolitik or experts in the subject, and they will not know the identity the author(s). The authors will receive the results of the evaluation in a period of time that will not exceed the two months and, in case it is necessary, they will have to incorporate the proposed modifications of the evaluators.

11. The evaluators will consider, especially, three aspects of the writtings: the quality and accuracy of the arguments exposed, the validity of the presented data and how up to date the work is.

12. The magazine will only edit unpublished writings, unless previous agreement with the author.

13. The authors will be responsible for the content of their writings, without the Staff of FreshPolitik or the Advisory Council having to assume the contents of the same nor necessarily having to share the opinions expressed therein; their performance is restricted to the evaluation of the quality, accuracy and validity of the facts presented in the writtings. However, FreshPolitik reserves the right to not publish those articles that may clearly incur in any criminal activity.

II. Format Requirements for FreshEssays

1. The maximum extension of each essay is approximately 2000 words, including an abstract of maximum 80 words.

III. Format and Presentation Requirements for the FreshPapers Store

1. There are no limits of format for the presentation of works generated in the normal academic dynamics.

2. The complete name and contact information (email and/or telephone number of the office) of the professor who evaluated the article, must be attached as well as the name of the subject in which it was presented.

IV. Criteria for PolitikArt

1. There are no limits of format for the presentation of stories and reviews.

2.The images will have to be sent in JPEG format.
